I’m a qualified lawyer who worked at top global firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for 13 years. So I understand the demands of a senior role in a high-pressure environment.
I’m an HR professional who became Head of Learning & Development at the same firm. So I understand talent management, the importance of staff retention and the challenges involved.
I’m a qualified coach who trained at Henley Business School. So I’m skilled at helping people to explore issues, evaluate their options, fulfill their potential and meet agreed business-linked objectives.
And I’m also a mother of three who returned to my senior professional role after my first two children were born, and set up my own consultancy after the third. So I have first-hand experience of the wide-ranging dilemmas and career options that new mothers face.
Four more reasons to choose me…
1. You get a real specialist. Maternity creates unique challenges for both individuals and their organisations, so it needs specific knowledge that generalist coaches can’t offer.
2. You get a programme that’s tailored to you and your needs – not an off-the-peg one that’s run time and time again. Every woman’s concerns and needs are different, so a “one-size-fits-all” approach just isn’t appropriate.
3. You get a personal approach, not a corporate one. I work as an independent, so there are no unknown quantities – you know exactly who you’re getting.
4. I’m genuinely committed to helping women navigate this momentous life change. On a personal level, I’m friendly, warm, empathetic and quick to build rapport. As a coach, I’m informed, intuitive, professional and great at helping you get past your “roadblocks” to find a solution you’re happy with.
What I do and who I work for
I’ve been working as a consultant and coach to senior professionals for over five years. My clients come from both the private and public sectors, in industries from law and banking to finance and engineering.
My maternity coaching programmes vary, because they’re individually tailored to each coachee. However, they are all designed to make a potentially difficult time as easy and stress-free as possible – both for talented women and the companies they work for.
